Zoom while in the car- Zooming while in a car is not safe nor conducive to learning. Each site campus provides IVA students with a place to participate in class (usually the library/media space). Students who are zooming while in the car will be moved to the waiting room and will be marked absent. Please contact the attendance office to report absences ivasecondary@iusd.org or 949-936-7400. Please refer to our IVA Video Conferencing Etiquette Agreement in our Parent/Student Handbook.

School Site Council- Our school site council is an important part of our school community. It consists of parents, teachers, staff and students. We are needing some parent volunteers to attend our School Site Council meetings this year. Meetings will be on zoom and we will look for a time that works for all participants. Please email Dr. Roberts, our principal, if you are interested at rebeccaroberts@iusd.org

Irvine Parent Education Programs (IPEP) are FREE seminars and educational workshops offered to Irvine parents/guardians throughout the school year. Our goal is to empower parents/guardians with the skills and strategies necessary to become active participants in their student’s education. IPEP offers a variety of workshops focused on topics important to parents/guardians of IUSD students. Experienced instructors and district-level representatives facilitate the interactive workshops, engaging participants in conversations and hands-on activities. Get more information and register on our webpage: www.iusd.org/ipep

The Irvine Family Resource Center is available to IUSD Families and typically serves students/parents who are having difficulty accessing their mental health support through their insurance provider due to lapse of coverage, a limited amount of sessions, not having mental health coverage within their insurance provider or is having difficulty getting linked to an appropriate provider.
