MIDDLE SCHOOL CAPSTONE
BE THAT SOMEBODY
Midyear Update
The Capstone students have been spending their class time utilizing the Wallingford 3D Learning Program in a variety of ways. From creating their MOST MAGNIFICENT THING, to designing for their EXTRAORDINAIRE, to making something usable out of cardboard during our CARDBOARD CHALLENGE. Students have been Dreaming, Designing, and Doing all of those things that innovators, creators, and engineers embark on everyday.

A Look Ahead...
What does the 2nd half of the year look like?
Once we finish up with our CARDBOARD creations, we will really start focusing on DREAMING about our CAPSTONE projects. This will include students brainstorming, identifying, and developing their problem statement for their CAPSTONE project. Students will hand in an informal proposal in February. In March, middle school CAPSTONE'ers from across the district will get together for a think tank/peer share activity. In April, the formal proposal will be due and in May, students will give a formal presentation on their project ideas and course of action.
