A Message from the Principals
Hello Millbridge families,
We appreciate everyone’s continued patience as we work together to navigate Canvas. This week, as part of our virtual Back to School night presentations, we will be including some short informational videos to help you and your child better navigate Canvas.
On Thursday, we will post a document to our website containing links to all of the Back to School presentations. Additionally, there will be a virtual meeting for families of students who are receiving either basic skills or RTI reading services. Those families will receive an email with information about how to join that Google Meet. The BSI/RTI presentation will also be available on the Back to School night document.
We appreciate everyone’s cooperation with our new drop off procedures. We ask that everyone who is dropping off their child continue to use Hartford Road to approach the carpool lane and then turn left when exiting the parking lot.
Thank you in advance, for all your support that you demonstrate for your students as well as the Millbrdige family. Please continue to refer to the school website for more information.
Your partners in education,
Mrs. Lowe and Mrs. Murphy

Attention iPad and MAC users iOS
It has come to our attention that the Canvas app may not play all videos. To eliminate this issue, please consider downloading the Chrome app and accessing Canvas through Google Chrome. For families who were loaned a district iPad, this app was pushed out automatically to all devices. You can access the Canvas website for Delran from the district and school pages on the Delran Schools website.
iReady
In the upcoming weeks, students will complete a diagnostic assessment on iReady. Below are links to two videos that will help you understand the iReady assessment.
2-minute video for parents, recapping why it’s important not to HELP their students.
Family Checklist for Administering the Diagnostic Assessments at Home
It is EXTREMELY important that you DO NOT assist your child. Students are placed on personal learning paths based on their performance. These assessments are NOT used for grading purposes. Once your child’s teacher has instructed you to begin, you may break the assessment into manageable chunks for your child. The assessment does not have to be completed in a single session. Due to the adaptive nature of the assessment, the length of time it takes to complete will vary greatly from student to student.
All students in grades K-2 will use iReady in Reading. Additionally, special education students in grades K-2 and students receiving basic skills math instruction will also utilize iReady in Mathematics.
Summer Math Information
If your child participated in the OPTIONAL summer math challenge, please submit this to the Millbridge office no later than Friday, September 25th.
What needs to be turned in:
- Option 1: Completed game board with your parent/guardian's initials next to the activities that you completed and a signature on the sheet. Please make sure both your first and last name are clearly written on the sheet.
- Option 2: Ribbon report showing at least 5 out of 6 ribbons earned with first and last names are clearly written on the sheet.
Students attending school in person: Please give the sheet to your teacher who will send it to the main office.
Students attending school 100% remotely: Please email a picture or PDF of your child's work to mboffice@delranschools.org. Parents wishing to drop off the form or mail it to the school may do so.
Meadows gift cards will be distributed to participating students the week of October 5th. Absolutely no submissions will be accepted after October 2nd.
Birthday and Holiday Treats
As per Dr. Brotschul’s presentation on the re-opening plan for Delran Schools, birthday celebrations, birthday treats and holiday celebrations are cancelled until further notice. We will not be accepting any snacks.
Dismisssal
Dismissal will begin at 3:20 PM, at which time all students will be escorted to the area designated for parent pickup, placed on their bus, or sent to Prime Time. For parents picking their child up, you will need to present government-issued photo identification or Fast Pass and sign your child out. Parents are asked to arrive at 3:20. The dismissal process usually takes a few minutes.
FAST PASS Pictures
In order to receive a FAST PASS, it is important to complete ALL paperwork and the FAST PASS application on Family ID. The next opportunity to have your photo taken for a FAST PASS will be on September 22nd for the Rancocas group and September 24th for the Delaware group. After picking your child up in the cafeteria, you and your child will proceed to the gym to have your picture taken.
If your child is participating in the 100% remote program and you have NOT picked up your materials, please do so on Wednesday, September 23rd between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm. We will have a bag of materials for your child to enable them to complete assignments on paper in addition to the computer. Please come to the main office. Masks MUST be worn while on school grounds.
