RAIDER CUP: Coming Soon!
- The Principal's Advisory, MTSS and SCA have been working hard to come up with something fun for our students to get them through the Spring Slump! We will hold short grade-level assemblies to introduce the Raider Cup Class Challenge and get students hyped-up about it! (For more information about the challenge, click here.)
- Freshmen - Monday 4/9 @ 11:50
- Sophomores - Thursday 4/12 @ 11:50
- Juniors - Friday 4/13 @ 11:50
- Seniors - Thursday 4/12 during 1st Period (during the already-scheduled senior assembly).
MTSS Update
We met as an MTSS committee on Wednesday, April 3rd. Here are some STRONG Buck updates:
- Colossal Doughnut Sales - Friday April 6 and Friday April 20.
- Prom Ticket Raffle - MTSS will purchase 5 Prom Tickets to be raffled off for STRONG Bucks.
- College Door Decorating Contest - from Monday April 9 - Wednesday April 25. Doors will be evaluated on the 26th and 27th. 1st place participants will earn pizza and 2nd and 3rd place will earn ice cream.
- STRONG Buck Movie in the auditorium - April 9, April 12 and 13. Avengers: Age of Ultron. 1 SB per day.
- Teacher Volunteers!?!? Would you be willing to try out a STRONG Buck incentive in your classroom? Click here to make a copy of a classroom poster that you can modify to meet the needs of your classroom/students! Please let us know how it goes!

Meet Brian Myers!
Do you have a nickname? Okee Dokee
What position do you hold in the building? Attendance Secretary
What's something interesting about you? I am a LHS graduate and I was almost districted to attend Great Mills HS but my parents ended up buying a house oil Callaway. I was also born in Stockton, California but when I was 6 months old my parents moved to Ridge, St. Mary’s County.
What is something most people don't know about you? I also work part-time at Ridgell’s Whitetail Butcher Shop. We butcher cows and I work in the “Ground beef - Grinding” Dept.
What do you like to do in your free time? I like to fish and oyster, I also love a good bonfire in the summer. I also play a lot of volleyball in the summer.
What's your favorite thing about being a staff member at LHS? The staff here is like a second family to me. There are nothing but determined, hard working, kind & loving folks here at LHS. Because of these wonderful people, I look forward to coming to work.
