Mr. B's First Week Bright Lights
What an amazing start to school!
What a blast we had!
The kids were terrific! The staff was ready! The building looked incredible! We rocked the first day! From the lining up on the playground to the final announcements, we pulled off a very successful day! Many thanks to all of you for your investment in your children by having them ready to go and prepared to show us their best!
My special friend is coming with me.

Ms Kohnert takes care of us.
Organized for their safety
We have a very specific method of bringing in the kids in the morning. We start with no one plays on the equipment-let's keep them as safe as possible to begin the day. Then we line up with our friends from our class and walk into the building together. Mr. Budisch and other staff will be out there to make sure everything starts right. Thanks for getting the kids there on time.
Walking into school
We know what to do.
Playground is empty-we make sure everyone gets inside.
Lunchtime and the Merton Way
Today, the classes visited the bus, the cafeteria, and the library to learn how to use the Merton Way at those places. Here are some pics of the cafeteria where the kids are using manners and courteous practices to make our lunchtime the best place in the world to eat. The teachers will be taking care of behavior in the bathrooms, the hallways, and the cafeteria. The Merton Way is alive and well at the Primary School. More to come on this soon.
Getting down to eating.

Summer Reading Logs
If your child participated in the summer reading program where they logged their reading minutes and books, be sure to send the log to school. A special event and celebration will be happening soon for oru super summer readers! Thank you!
