Anton was born on October 24,1632, and died August 26,1723, He was a microscopist who was the first person to observe bacteria and protozoa. At his young ages he lost his biological father.

He did not received no higher education or a university, and knew no languages other than his native Dutch. He succeeded in making some of the most important discoveries in the history of biology.
