Library Update
Thank you to all who visited the library during our Open House at the Ripple Roundup! It was a pleasure to see so many families. The volunteers from Tohickon really enjoyed folding origami with the students and our special guest from the Doylestown library made many positive comments about what a great place Gayman was to visit!

Kids Care Club Works With AARK
May 21st was Kids Care Club's last meeting of the 2014/2015 School Year. We welcomed back AARK Wildlife and Rehabilitation Center for it's second visit to Gayman. AARK (located in New Britain) provides temporary sanctuary for thousands of injured and orphaned birds and mammals annually. Kids Care Club got up close and personal with some of these native wild animals. Educator Ms. Theresa of AARK brought along a screech owl, baby squirrel and baby possum. Kids learned about these native wild mammals and birds and how best to help when finding an animal abandoned or injured. Kids Care Club, with the help of the school, donated much needed supplies to AARK for their work at the rehabilitation center. Kids Care Club closed the meeting with some well earned water ice for all the community effort put forth this school year and said goodbye to Kids Care Club's 6th graders. The Club's 6th graders have been an instrumental part of our outreach effort since first grade.
We look forward to another engaging year of community service, education and outreach for the 2015/1016 school year. If you have any community service ideas for the coming school year or would like to be involved in the program planning for Kids Care Club, please contact Claudine Piechotta at piechottafamily@gmail.com. Kids CAN make a difference!"
