ECO-P.A.R.E.T.
ECOlogical Partnership And Recycling Education Training
29/10-06/11.2014 Fundación Escuela de Solidaridad, Sierra Elvira, Granada, Spain
The Foundation is located just below the magnificent Granada ( Spanish pearl:).
Its area is a village of 10 abandoned buildings in which live immigrants, homeless families, abandoned and lost people and off course EVS volunteers)
They all found their place to live and create new special community. They have their own rules, every day work, learn and create their world, but also eat meals together, help each other.
This unique place was the inspiration for me to write a project combining ecology (there is a lot of space to maneuver when it comes to eco-structures, usage and recycling), non- formal education (foundation implemented many projects of this type) and conscious co-creation and collaboration of local community and youth workers.
It’s an ideal place to work on new methods and competences of youth workers and leaders in the context of recycling and solidarity work.
I let myself be inspired - please - consider also this possibility!!!!
