AUSTRALIANS INVOLVEMENT IN THE WAR
Australians involvement on the war was to support the British, because they were apart of the British Empire. Britain wanted to send out most of the Australians because they didn’t value their lives.
SIGNIFICANT BATTLES-
GALLIPOLI: fought in turkey against the Turkish. Allies thought they could beat the Turkish which would threaten the central powers, mainly Austria-Hungary.
SIGNIFGANT BATTLES-
THE MIDDLE EAST – AFC, played a big part in the battles fighting against the Turkish forced in Egypt and Palestine.
SIGNIFICANT BATTLES-
THE WESTREN FRONT- September 1914 French and British forces had stopped the Germans invasion on the northern fields of France and Belgium.
