Quick 2 Question Feedback Form- Family and Student Responses Needed by January 19th
Students, Families, and All RMSST Stakeholders - Please help us by answering this two questions survey as we reflect on first semester and work to reach our school's vision of preparing global STEM leaders of accelerated change.
Your responses will be compiled and shared at an upcoming staff meeting focused on our School Improvement Goals. All responses need to be submitted by Friday, January 19th for inclusion at that meeting.
As always, if you have an individual concern or something that is time sensitive, please reach out to Mrs. Baskett directly or refer to our "Who to Contact" list at https://magnet.rockdaleschools.org/about/news_and_announcements/news/f_a_q_s for the right person for different types of questions.
Schedule Change Requests for this Semester Must Be Submitted by Tomorrow
The Schedule Change Request Form linked below was shared with students via Canvas Monday and announced during Homeroom. All requests are due by tomorrow, Friday, January 12th. The only change that can be guaranteed is for a duplicate class that is already on a student's transcript, however all will be reviewed.

Last chance to submit to compete at Technology Fair! Deadline is midnight tomorrow.
Students can submit projects completed in any of their courses for the different categories of the East Atlanta Technology Fair. All students are encouraged to participate and complete this linked application.

Please use this Form below to upload photos and videos of yourself and/or groups from class engaging in technology rich instructional activities. These images may be featured at the RMSST showcase booth at the Tech Fair - 8am to noon at RCA on Saturday, January 27th.
Celebrating Distinction at RMSST
7 Students Named National STEM Challenge Finalists
The following 7 Magnet students were named as a Finalist in the National STEM Challenge. We are delighted to have 7 out of only 288 national honorees. They can be viewed online at National STEM Challenge.

The next step is a 90 second video submission. From this, there will be up to 200 national champions selected. These champions will win a trip to the National STEM Festival in Washington D.C. in April 2024.

Free Tutoring! Access Tutor.com via ClassLink for On-Demand Help at Home!
Reminder: Rockdale County Public Schools (RCPS) and Tutor.com, one of the world’s largest online tutoring services, have partnered to provide live, online tutoring services for RCPS students. Through this partnership, quarantined RCPS students in grades 6-12 can access live tutors on-demand, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, from Tutor.com for 1-to-1 learning support. RCPS students in grades K-12 can access the same expert tutors afterschool.
The service provides homework help across more than 120 subjects, along with drop-off essay review and test prep.
Students can access Tutor.com through the ClassLink landing page in any internet browser on their school-issued laptop or device, which will automatically sign in the student to their account. Or they can visit https://launchpad.classlink.com/rockdale.

Magnet Families- Please use the school year's calendar as you plan. It is key that students are at school every day that they are well. Research shows that attendance in class is a key predictor for success.
