Evaluate the accuracy, relevance, appropriateness, and bias of electronic information sources. MS.NI: Networking and the Internet: Differentiate between secure and non-secure websites and applications including how they affect and use personal data.
Essential Question:
Can you believe everything you see and hear on the internet? How can you fact-check to make sure videos and other sources are accurate?
Student Directions:
1. Watch the videos below
2. Create a padlet post that summarizes how you can practice safe, legal, and responsible use of information and technology (you can talk about what you learned from the lesson). Your post should be at least six sentences or longer. Use text evidence to support your post.
3. Engage in a digital discussion with at least two other classmates. Respond to their post with something you learned. If you agree with their post, explain why you agree and list examples. Use text evidence to support your post.
