A note regarding morning drop off:
Parents- in order to ensure every student's safety and keep morning drop-off running efficiently, we remind you of the following policy:
Please stay in your vehicle while in the drop-off lanes. If your child needs extra time or assistance when exiting your vehicle, please park in a parking space to help your child.
We also ask that you do not park in any area of the drop-off lanes until after 7:50 am.
Thank you
A peek into our week
ELA - We learned about Spiders, Bats and read the book Good Night, Good Knight. We worked on the skills: Fact and Opinion, writing Paragraphs, writing stories, and homonyms.
Bible - Being Responsible. We learned that sometimes we just have to put on our Good Boy and Good Girl pants and just "do it!"
Social Studies - Map Skills. They have loved looking at our classroom atlases. If you don't have one of these at home, this may be a great Christmas gift idea.
New Spelling Homework Policy
Spelling Homework will only need to be turned in if a student makes below an 87% the precious week.
If a student receives below an 87%, they will need to turn in Spelling homework on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday the following week. If they receive an 87-99 the will need to turn in work on Friday - just like we have always done.
I am really trying to encourage studying though out the week and NOT waiting until Thursday night to start.
* For now, Math homework will remain the same.
