T-Shirt 'FUN'draiser
Proceeds to benefit Madonna Renewal Center
Just for the FUN of it!
We call him 'Head Custodian' because 'Full-Time Mouse Catching, Window Fixing, Picture Hanging, Bookcase Building, Door Unlocking, Water Mopping, Prank Assisting, Heat Fixing, Part-Time Teacher Therapist, Multitasking Wizard' . . . is a long title.
Mr. Shippy, our head custodian and resident wise man, is the first person Aquin staff calls when we lock our keys in our classroom for the 5th time in a week or students can't get their locker open . . . and so in the spirit of FUN, we invite you to join us in sharing appreciation for Mr. Shippy’s steadfast reliability and good humor.
T-shirts in honor of our favorite calm, harmonica-playing philosopher are on sale now through February 14. The shirt designs are shown above and of course, the t-shirts are denim blue. Shirts are $10 for short sleeve and $15 for long sleeve. And we will have a free 'Shippy' shirt day (with khakis) on Mardi Gras which is Tuesday, February 25.
All proceeds go to the Madonna Renewal Center, where Mr. Shippy routinely helps the blue nuns with whatever they need, from driving lessons to plumbing. The good sisters are having their annual spaghetti fundraiser dinner on the evening of the 25th, celebrating Mardi Gras at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. We will give the proceeds of the shirt sales to the sisters as a donation from Aquin for their event.
And remember . . . glitter is always a bad idea . . . and a wholehearted life is about how you serve others.
