MESSAGE FROM NURSE TANYA
Providence is offering free heart screens for youth 12-18 to help promote early detection of heart conditions in youth that could be potentially life threatening. Free youth heart screenings include an electrocardiogram (ECG), and if needed, an echocardiogram. Please follow the link for more information and appointment schedule.

Our Winter teams have begun already and are wrapping up their first week of practice!
Football came roaring back against Cascade last Friday to earn another trip to the state semi-finals defeating the Cougars 24-19.
We play Saturday at 1:00pm against #1 Henley (Klamath Falls) at Willamette High School in Eugene. OSAA is encouraging everyone to buy electronic tickets ahead of time to avoid waiting in line.
Fall All-League Honors were released for Boys and Girls Soccer and Volleyball. Football is still being finalized and will be released soon. We were extremely well represented!
The Booster Club is expanding and planning February’s Crab Feed and beginning to plan for a Scappoose Scramble Golf Tournament in August. They support all activities, clubs, and athletic teams. Reach out to our Booster Club President, Dustin Stansbury (dtfguideservice@gmail.com) for more information.

The Safe & Sober Graduation Party planning is well underway. Thank you to those of you who have volunteered, attended meetings, or supported our group in any way so far this year. The success of this event is based on donations and fundraising. We are estimating a need of $250 per senior.
