PTA Board - Changes
I am sure you have heard by now that our PTA board had a few changes. We wanted everyone to know what changes are happening. We wished our former PTA President, Courtney Clayton, a warm farewell and are now welcoming Mrs. Rosey Perez a grand hello! Welcome, Rosey! We are so appreciative of your support and leadership abilities!
Hello Hedgcoxe Families! Are you a PTA Member? Well, we would love for you to be! Your membership helps fund all your child's activities. Below are just a few that have happened recently.
This semester, Kindergarten took a field trip to the Pumpkin Patch and each child brought back their own mini pumpkin. We also helped put on the Kindergarten Rodeo, where they got to pretend to be cowboys for a day. 2nd Grade went to the Heard Museum. 3rd Grade took a field trip to the Outdoor Learning Center, getting to learn all about different animals and their habitats. There are more fun and educational field trips to come in the Spring semester! Your membership means more than you know to our school, please consider signing up today!

First Grade Program- A Day In the Life of a First Grader
“A Day in the Life of a First Grader”
Our First Graders will be presenting “A Day in the LIfe of a First Grader” on Thursday evening, February 1, 2018 at 6:00 PM on the Hedgcoxe stage. Mark your calendars and plan to come see and hear just what our first graders do all day at school. Each child will have a special part. We are asking that the students wear jeans and their school Spirit Shirt in the school colors of black, gold, gray, and/or white. If your child does not have a spirit shirt, please have him/her wear jeans and a T-shirt in our school colors.
The students should report to their home rooms by 5:45 PM that evening to line-up. We will begin the program at 6:00 PM. More information will be coming home closer to the date. Watch for the song word sheets so you can help your child memorize the words to the songs. You will be contacted if your child’s special part requires extra practices.
