How to help support what your child is learning at school
Put First Things First
"Do what you have to do so you can do what you want to do."
Putting first things first is hard. In fact, of all the skills we want our students to learn it's the hardest one to acquire. We all want to do the urgent thing or the easier thing first. However, if we allow our students to procrastinate and put things off when they are young they may learn too late or not at all. Cramming the night before a test can feel awful, but when we to teach our students to study first it helps them feel good when they are prepared. "Work first, then Play"

WHAT DO I DO IF MY CHILD IS SICK?
Please communicate with the front office if your child is home sick. It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to call the school each day of absence by 10 a.m. to explain the absence of the student. The purpose in notifying the school is to promote that both the school and the family are aware that we can account for each student. A child should stay home if they exhibit the following symptoms: a fever, which is a temperature of 100.4, vomiting, or diarrhea. They must be symptom free for 24 hours before returning to school.
