Tri-County Tournament
A huge thank you to all the parent that helped to host the Girls Basketball Tri-County Tournament this past weekend. It was a huge success, in large part, because of the selfless giving of time and energy by all the parents involved.
Also, congratulations to the 7th grade girls team for winning the tournament! Awesome job and way to represent the middle school!

Hoops for Heart 2016
It’s about that time! Kick-off week for our 2016 Hoops For Heart campaign will be the
week of Monday, February 29. Students will receive Hoops for Heart envelopes in their
PE/Health classes. Donations can be made by cash or online. Students will be viewing
an informational DVD that will include all details of the campaign and show them how to
customize their own webpage through the JCMS headquarters. We encourage parents
and students to visit www.heart.org/hoops to get registered during kick off week. On
Friday, March 18th all 7th and 8th grade students will participate in Hoops during their PE
or Health classes. Last year as a school we were able to collect over $2000. This total
put us in the top of all middle school participants in the state All proceeds go directly
to the American Heart Association. Top individuals in each class and grade will be
eligible for prizes. Let’s make 2016 the best year ever!
