NEW ITEM Teachers are encouraged to select comments from the recommended list when completing their student’s academic checklists. This list has been provided for teachers to ensure equal opportunity while allowing teachers to make decisions that best match the student’s present levels of performance in the areas of reading, writing, math, science, social studies and handwriting. Please note a change in the District Snapshot calendar for 5th grade. Snapshot 2 will be given in February 11-14 NOT March 4-8. Sorry for the change.
3rd Grade District snapshot 1 has had the 5 questions from Force, Motion, & Energy split between 3.6A AND 3.6B this is change. The total number of questions for the district snapshot remains at 10.
We have used the Lead4ward Investigating the Question document to record the district and state results for each question from STAAR 2018. Use this data along with your campus data to help decide which standards might need additional focus. Link

NEW ITEM: Imagine Math: Imagine Math has created professional learning videos that will be helpful in allowing teachers to know how to use Imagine Math more effectively within their mathematics classroom. To view these videos, please register with Imagine University. We would recommend the following playlist to review at this time: Getting Started, Student Experience. Please ensure that students are utilizing this resource on the campuses that have requested this year. If you need additional support, please reach out to us.
K-2 Rapid Assessments have been added under the Assessment tab in the GPS for grades K-2. The rapid assessment offers a quick gauge of students' mathematical ability through teacher observation of the given task. The rapid assessment also includes possible interpretations of student thinking, areas to address, and implications for further instruction.
ESTAR/MSTAR fall window will close on October 12. Please ensure that your Grade 2 - Grade 5 teachers have administered to all students. Additional information related to ESTAR/MSTAR.
