Principal's Message - Arleta hosting OBOB 678 Regionals
I am so excited that next weekend, Arleta will be hosting the Oregon Battle of the Books 678 Regionals. This is such an honor for us and our amazing Media Specialist Treasa Street is leading a group of volunteers to create a wonderful event for families from all over the metro area who are participating in this event.
If you have the time to lend a hand, please check out the OBOB Sign Up Genius to see where Treasa could use some help. You don't have to have a student in 678 to come out and show the visiting schools how Arleta Awesome we are.
Family engagement is key to the success of any school and at Arleta we are so fortunate to have families and students who are in the building every day supporting the work we do and showing students the importance of supporting education.
Looking forward to seeing you all on March 16th at Arleta for the OBOB 678 Regionals.
With Gratitude, Diana
Please Don't Idle
Here is a quick video that explains more why is it so important to turn off your car engine while waiting for students after school or while waiting for the bell to ring in the morning.
Thank you to Dore Law Firm for their donating the signs.
