Bulldog Bark Family Edition
May 3, 2020
NO SCHOOL Monday, May 4 (Satellite Meals and ECP will continue.)
TEACHER appreciation Week MAy 4-8, 2020
Please take a moment to thank your child's teachers this week! We are filled with Bulldog Pride to have such a highly qualified, compassionate, dedicated team!
From the Office:
- Thank you for your continued support!
- Please return library books to Satellite Meal locations at your convenience. Buses deliver meals for pick up from 7:15-8:30 Monday through Friday; the elementary school has similar hours.
- Families of kindergarten and first grade students have paid for an upcoming field trip that has since been cancelled. Families, please contact the elementary school office if you want a refund check. If not, the District will transfer the field trip fee to your food service account.
- Please be certain to contact your child's teacher immediately with questions or concerns. We are proud to be your partner in education!
- Thank you for your continued best efforts in encouraging students to make good choices and in monitoring online behavior as best you can. This is a new learning curve for all of us, and a great opportunity to work side by side with our kiddos to learn and practice acceptable technology behavior. We've got this!
- Please remind your children to view their teacher's videos. Filled with directions, suggestions, and occasional 'clues', the videos also provide a gentle reminder of our time spent together in classrooms.
- Please see the link below to register for our PawPacks Program, designed to provide quick, easy, nutritious meals intended to help students who could use additional food, or who may not have an adult at home to help prepare food over the weekend. Packs are sent home with students at the end of each week with our Satellite Meal Program. There is NO cost and there are NO income qualifications to participate. You can register at any time; an email to Mary Holmberg will get the process started!

Catholic Charities' Foster Grandparent Program
Paynesville Area Elementary School graciously welcomes Foster Grandparents! The Foster Grandparent Program offers seniors, 55+, the opportunity to work with students in local schools, or other non-profit agencies with children who need extra assistance. Typically school “Grandma’s” and “Grandpa’s” work one-on-one with kids who need some extra support both academically and emotionally.Foster Grandparents have the ability to use their time, skills and experience to help children learn. Volunteers put in a minimum of 260 hours a year and receive a tax free stipend, mileage reimbursement, and educational opportunities.
This is a great opportunity if you have time to spare, love to be with children, and could use some extra non-taxable income. For more information, please contact Sara at 320-229-4589 or www.ccstcloud.org
