Triple A Newsletter September 2019
Advocacy, Accessibility, Accommodations-Section 504
Hello All, I hope that you had a great start to this new school year. There are many things happening in our state and in our region. Many of you have heard me say that Section 504 is mentioned 27 times in the special education strategic plan. One major outcome of the plan is that TEA has revamped the ESC networks and created 10 new Statewide Technical Assistance Leadership Networks. Here is the link to review the new networks. Statewide Leadership Networks. Network #5 will be of interest in that there is a big emphasis on MTSS (Multi-tiered Systems of Supports). I will continue to keep you informed. I will be sending out a newsletter monthly since so much is happening. Please feel free to email me if you have questions or if you have good resources to share. Have a great year!
