Attention parents of Juniors - Learning about the world of work now makes a positive impact for your future! As a part of this, we are excited to offer LHS specific internships for you during the 2022-2023 school year! Please see this flyer to learn more about these experiential learning opportunities - 2022-23 LHS Internship Information
Many of these take place during the school day so as to not interrupt your extracurricular commitments. See Mr. Mitchell in the school counseling office with any questions.
- Attention Parents of Sophomores and Juniors! Preparing for college readiness testing can make a big difference. With that in mind, LHS is excited to become a host site for ACT prep with LEAP! Please see this link for details - ACT Prep At LHS
- Finally, don't forget to join the LHS Counselors for the annual CCP meeting on January 26, 2022 at 6:30 pm in the LHS Auditorium. The College Credit Plus (CCP) program has been established by the Ohio Department of Higher Education to enhance students’ college and career readiness and postsecondary options. The CCP program enables college-ready, 7-12 grade students who qualify for college admission to take college-level courses for which they may earn both high school and transcripted college credit upon successful completion of coursework. We strongly encourage students to attend this event. There will be a brief overview of the program as well as tables set up with many of the local colleges being represented. The college representatives will be able to share their college specific information. If you are unable to attend the meeting there will be a presentation posted on the LHS College Credit Plus Google Site.
Feel free to contact your child's counselor with any questions. They are happy to help!
