Parents,
Did you receive an email from LCPS about the Family Survey? Please take a few moments to respond to that survey and provide us your feedback. The surveys close tomorrow on Saturday, April 1st. If you didn't get it, please check your spam or junk mail!
A special thanks to all who came to the volleyball game against Emerick. It was a close one! I loved the school spirit even though my ears are still ringing! Great times and great memories. I am honored to share that we collected $1,000 in our 50/50 raffle for charity! Each school received $250 which was donated to their charity of choice! Our charity was Team Mathias in honor of Dominic Neumann on his 5 year Cancer Free day! Dominic, one of our stellar fifth graders, courageously overcame childhood leukemia. It was a wonderful night all the way around! Check out the life lesson below for a worthwhile message regarding the game!
Congratulations to our fourth graders for their Epic Showcase on Thursday. The children continue to impress us with their use of the 5Cs! Our 3rd graders also did a masterful job with their "Gotta Be Jazz" show!
Have a wonderful Spring Break and we will see you on Monday, April 10th!
Sincerely,
Andrew Davis - Principal
Yearbook Sales Close on April 7th!
Life Lesson with Mr. Davis, Marlow, and McKenna! - Don't Give Up!
This week's House winner is. . . the Edison House!
LCPS Family Survey - We Want Your Feedback
We need to hear from you!
The LCPS Annual Family Survey will be emailed to you on March 13. The LCPS Annual Staff, Student and Family Survey is the most extensive and influential feedback survey conducted by Loudoun County Public Schools each year. We use the results to assess the learning climate in our building and make plans for the following year. We want to hear from everyone so that we can make the best decisions for ALL our students!
The parent/family survey will only take a few minutes of your time. You will receive an email from Dr. Daniel Smith that will include a link to take the survey. You will be asked to fill out a survey for each school in which you have a child enrolled (elementary, middle, high or program). For more information go to https://www.lcps.org/2023survey If you do not receive a survey email by March 15, contact research@lcps.org.
Thank you for sharing your opinion with us!
FEBRUARY GOLDEN BEAR AWARD WINNERS
We are excited to announce our ROUND HILL GOLDEN BEARS for the month of February! Each month, a student from every classroom is nominated to receive this award. All students chosen for this award model our 3 R’s at Round Hill Elementary - they are Responsible, Respectful, and Ready to learn each and every day!
To celebrate our Round Hill Golden Bears, each student nominated is announced on our Morning News Show. In addition, they will receive a certificate that includes the reasons why their teacher chose them for this award along with a golden bear paw charm. Please join me in congratulating our Round Hill Golden Bears!
