Some of you shared very special notes and drawings of thankfulness with us as you drove through. We will be using these special messages to create a display inside TuES...

Others have uploaded pictures to share! Check these out below. It isn't too late to upload a picture if you would like!

Tuscarora Elementary School is proud to announce that this year's student award winner for the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Day Celebration is ...

Meet our TuES Staff
Each week we will introduce some of our wonderful TuES Staff members!
Ms. Guillen, Second Grade
Her words of wisdom for our Timberwolves are...
"Be proud of yourself; you're doing your best."
Ms. Barr, Literacy Specialist
Her words of wisdom:
"Your hardest times often lead to the greatest moments of your life."
Zig Ziglar
Ms. Seebach, Special Education Teacher
Her words of wisdom:
"Everyone has the potential for greatness inside them. One of the best things you can do in life is to help others achieve that greatness."
And... Introducing A New Timberwolf Teacher...
Mr. Vaughn
Grade 5
Mr. Vaughn joined the Timberwolf staff this year.
Mr. Vaughn says his favorite activities in his free time are playing my guitars, getting lost in an RPG-style game (whether virtually on my Xbox or playing some D&D!), and following my UCF Knights (either live on TV, following social media, or chatting with fellow fans on the UCF Rivals message board) ...though having a family with three young boys at home hasn't left much free time anymore!
Mr. Vaughn shared:
Some words of wisdom that struck me to my core early in my adult life came from the late Stephen Hawking: When speaking about perseverance in the face of failure, he said,
"However difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at. It matters that you don't just give up." I truly feel that can apply to many of us right now, feeling we may be failing to reach students or even students that feel they are failing to learn in this virtual setting we have been forced to utilize. Don't give up, everyone can succeed at something!

Maryland COVID Alert Service
Marylanders can now use MD COVID Alert to receive notices about COVID-19 exposure on smartphones. The system uses Bluetooth Low Energy technology to quickly notify users who might have been exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19 with the goal of reducing infections in Maryland.
MD COVID Alert was specifically designed to protect the privacy and personal information of users. Users remain anonymous, their location is never tracked, and no data is collected from their smartphones. Using Bluetooth technology, the system can detect if two devices are near each other without revealing where the devices are or who they belong to.
