Oberon's Odes
A.K.A "GIMME!"
Theme: Life can be a real mess, but don't let your emotions rule you.
In the play A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare, I think Shakespeare conveyed this message through Oberon because he did let his emotions get the better of him, and a big mess ensued. His happy emotions that wanted the lovers to be together caused chaos and confusion, and his spiteful ones toward Titania nearly ended their marriage and caused even more regretful actions.
I am Lord of the Forest.
This song is what I was listening to before this whole mess started. Walking through my private garden atop my personal skyscraper. These feelings are directed toward Oberon, and I chose this song because it is calming and regal, and seems peaceful.
Audiomachine - Tree of Life
Titania is here.
This song pretty much shows how I felt when Titania came down from the sky in a black helicopter to taunt me with that boy again. Onto my helipad, on my building, in my garden! Who does she think she is! I was close to activating the anti-air guns. Still, I was pretty mad. These feelings are directed toward Titania, and I chose this song because it has a fast tempo and seems outraged.
Dragon Rider (Long Version) - Two Steps From Hell
She's meeeeeeeeean.
After a long argument and a thorough chewing-out, I honestly was pretty upset. We're married, after all... But maybe not for long. She's been nothing but trouble for a while now. This song is how I felt. These feelings are directed towards Oberon and Titania. I chose this song because it seems sad and reflective, but has parts where the tempo increases greatly.
Axl Rosenberg - El Dorado
JUST GIVE HIM TO ME!
At this point, I was just done with her. In a screaming rage, I demanded she give me the boy, digging up every piece of dirt I had on her and playing the cards I'd sworn never to play. I just wanted the boy! I was supposed to be her MASTER! These feelings are directed towards Titania. I chose this song because it seems out of control, but trying to keep it together. It is also very angry. The selection is from 13:58 to 17:53.
Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl Soundtrack
She'll pay...
She left in her helicopter again, while we were still fighting. I'll get her with this mind control agent. This'll be fun... These feelings are directed at Oberon's inward plotting and at Titania. I chose this song because it is sneaky, quiet, and plotting.
Team Fortress 2 Soundtrack | Right Behind You
MWAHAHAHAHHAHA!!!
MWAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAAAAAA... hhahahahaha.. hah.. She'll go crazy! I'm looking forward to seeing this... These feelings are directed at Titania when Oberon snaps. I chose this song because it is ominous and discordant, seemingly off the hook. Selection starts at 5:30 and goes to the end.
Twilight Princess Symphonic Movement - Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Symphony
Puck's Mistake
Puck screwed up, and gave the mind control agent to the wrong people. He can be so irritating! I HATE HIM!! These feelings are directed at Puck. I chose this song because Oberon is still angry at Puck, and seems to see his plans crumbling. This song is fast and dramatic, with a hint of panic.
Two Steps from Hell - Black Blade
Lost my temper, sorry.
Well, Puck didn't know any better. Still, there's a lot of cleanup to do. Alright, Puck. Get over here and get moving! He better not have been lying... These feelings are directed inwards towards Oberon and out towards Puck. I chose this song because it starts slow and apologetic, but speeds up and becomes more dramatic as Oberon gains control and authority.
John Dreamer - Becoming A Legend
Got her!
Listened to this one in my limo on the way back from hearing that Titania did get mind-controlled, and did some pretty dumb things. Serves her right! She got what she deserved! YEAH! These feelings are directed at Oberon ant Titania. I chose this song because it is triumphant, fast and celebratory.
Two Steps From Hell - El Dorado (SkyWorld)
Well, now that that's over...
Titania and I "kissed and made up", so things are better there now. I shouldn'tve lost my temper as much as I did, but it all turned out alright in the end. That was exciting, but I'm glad it's over. These feelings are directed toward the events of the story and everyone involved. I chose this song because it is melodious, slow and reflective.
