Wildcat Weekly
2022-2023 Vol. #25 January 21, 2022
Welcome back to the weekly! We have enjoyed another great week at TMHS!
Congrats to TMHS Cheer! They competed in Dallas last weekend in the State Championships and were crowned the 6A Division I State Champions! Their amazing performances earned them the hardware last weekend, but also punched their ticket to compete at Nationals next month in Orlando Florida. Way to go Cheer! We're beyond proud of you!
This week our FFA students will showcase their animals in the 47th annual TISD Project Show and Sale. The show begins on Wednesday and runs through Saturday, concluding with the live auction at 2:00 p.m.. All show events are held at the TISD show barn on the campus of THS. The show is a great time for the entire family so bring everyone out and help support our FFA program and its participants!

JOINT PTO!!
It's not too late! Please consider joining the TMHS PTO! All memberships and donations help support the Chick-fil-a reward lunches each 9 weeks for students and they support our teacher and staff appreciation efforts.
https://pto-membership-12063.cheddarup.com
***Volunteering is not required.***
Did you know that the PTO’s largest and most successful event is Student Reward lunches?
We reward students who received All As, As & Bs and those who improve their grades 15 points from the previous 9 weeks with a Chick-fil-A sandwich, chips and dessert!
The PTO serves anywhere from 1700-1900 students each 9 weeks at a cost of over $8,500 each grading period. We need over $25,000 to put on this lunch on 3 times a year for the hard-working students of TMHS! Our next Reward Lunch is Friday, February 3.
This is such a fun, encouraging celebration that our students work so hard for and enjoy! We need your help to make this event happen as it takes a village to feed all these amazing students. Please consider donating money for sandwiches, chips & snacks and volunteering to make this event a success.
Donate money for CFA sandwiches and to let us shop for you for chips & dessert.
***All donations are tax deductible***
Sign up to donate and volunteer.

Student ID Badges
All TMHS Students will be required to wear their ID badge each day!
Student ID Badges
Students are required to wear their campus-issued ID badges to school every day. ID badges will help the campus determine which individuals are authorized to be on campus and will assist in accounting for students in an emergency situation. For students, their ID badge has additional functionality for transportation, child nutrition, and library services. The ID badge will be provided to students as soon as possible, in some instances before school during orientation activities or on the first day of school. Students will also receive a lanyard and protective sleeve. Students must have their ID visible on them at all times during the school day. In the name of collectively ensuring a safe environment in our schools, the District appreciates the support of our parents in ensuring their students wear their badges to school every day.
Click HERE to purchase a new ID if necessary.
Please see the Student Health and Safety Handbook for additional information on measures to keep your students safe and healthy!
