From the SWAMP - Another fantastic week in the SWAMP! The weather has allowed all of us to get outside whenever possible and connect with each other. Also, Mr. Harrison and myself have personally visited every classroom and shared with everyone what it means to be a Gator! Gator Gear is for sale through our website and it’s great to see our Gator Pride throughout the building and in the community.
National Day for Truth and Reconciliation Week - Next week through a variety of classroom lessons and activities, we are recognizing and reflecting on the legacy of residential schools here in Alberta and across our country. We will be honouring Orange Shirt Day on Wednesday, September 29 and Thursday will be a “no school day”, in recognition of the legacy of residential schools.
Concession - Open now on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:05-12:45. Menu items range in price from $0.50-$2.00.
Pizza Friday - Every Friday we will be selling Nitza’s Pizza 8” pizzas for $6.00. They will arrive individually packaged and handed in a COVID safe fashion. Students can choose between cheese, pepperoni or ham and pineapple. If you are interested please have your child bring cash to their homeroom teacher on Wednesday this week.
Gator Gear - IS HERE! Orders are being made and students are showing their pride! IF you would like to order, please do! Please visit our website and follow the link. Orders will be processed here in the school and the turnaround time is really quick!

ATTENDANCE & SIGN IN/ SIGN OUT
If a student needs to leave early, the office MUST hear from a parent. Please email or call the office and we will allow the student to sign out & meet you outside (or walk home).
If a student will arrive late, they are to sign in at the office, and will be given a late slip. If we have been informed the student will be late, that will be an excused late. Without hearing from a parent, the student would be marked as unexcused.
If you have any questions, please ask the office.
