SOARing to Improve Scholar Outcomes

Please call to schedule an appointment. Most importantly to speak with enrollment rep as it relates to the proper documents you may need to complete registration. We want to make your trip to campus meaningful. Here are a few of some required documents for enrollment.
  • Valid Picture ID
  • Shot Record
  • Scholar's Birth Certificate
  • Current Bill with Current Address/ Copy of Lease Agreement
  • Previous School Records You Have ( i.e Report Card, Test Scores, SPED Documentation)

Face to Face Reminders

  • Arrival- 7:45 AM Walkers enter in the front of the building. Families remains with scholars in until temperature checks have been completed.
  • Breakfast 7:45 AM- 8:20 AM
  • Uniform and Mask Highly Recommended
  • No Crocs
  • Communicate a Change in Your Scholar's Mode of Transportation Home- A Change in your scholar's normal mode of transportation should be shared in writing to your scholar's teacher at the start of the day.
  • Closed Campus- 2:30 PM- Scholars can not be picked up at or after these times. Front entry is locked to begin dismissal procedures
  • Car-Rider Expectation- If your scholar is exiting the building to enter a vehicle, please report to the Cleveland Street side of the building near the gym.

Our Scholars Are Closer to Well @ JC

Technology Return For Virtual Scholars Begins Monday, June 7

As safety continues to be our top priority there are a few pre-drop requirements:

If you or anyone in your household has tested positive for COVID-19, have fever, shortness of breath, and/or any cold/sinus symptoms please do not report to the campus for drop-off or pick-up of personal items. Inform your child’s teacher and administrators will reach out to you individually

Before leaving home:

  • Inspect the device for any damages

  • Wipe the device down with a disinfectant wipe make sure not to cause any liquid damage

  • Place the device in a clear ziplock bag labeled with scholars name and grade level

  • Be sure to include the charger and case the device was issued with

Once Arriving to the campus: Drop off location : BUS LOADING ZONE(TAFT STREET) for Chromebook and MyFi devices

  • Enter the campus on the correct side of the building

  • Remain in your vehicle at all times a staff member will come to you to collect the device

  • Sign the appropriate return disclaimer

    • If there are any damages please be prepared to discuss charges with staff member collecting device

  • Once your device is collected and you have signed the corresponding document, exit the parking lot.

BISD Summer Feeding Program Set to Begin June 16

The Beaumont ISD Child Nutrition Department will host meal sites throughout the summer for all children aged 18 and under beginning June 16, 2021.

PLA @ Jones Clark Elementary is offering both curbside and dine-in meals.

  • Curbside meals will be served 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday through Thursday; meals for Thursday through Saturday will be provided on Thursdays.
  • Dine-in meals are served during the following times: Breakfast at 7:45-8:30 a.m. and lunch at 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

There are no income requirements, identification guidelines or registration information to follow in order to receive a meal.
