10 Ways to Connect Globally

Explore the Global Education Conference Network

The Global Education Conference Network

GlobalEdCon is a free, virtual conference taking place annually during International Education Week each November. This community lives on throughout the year and contains many resources for educators.

Join Our Network

Our web site is a online community designed to promote connecting and collaborating. From our perspective, professional relationships are the cornerstone of effective global collaborations and our space allows globally minded educators and others to find each other.

If you join our network, you can develop your profile so that other members can learn more about your work, and you can search our member directory to find others from specific fields or countries.

Read Our Mission Statement

The Global Education Conference is a collaborative, world-wide community initiative involving students, educators, and organizations at all levels. It is designed to significantly increase opportunities for building education-related connections around the globe while supporting cultural awareness, recognition of diversity, and educational access for all.

The conference seeks to present ideas, examples, and projects related to connecting educators and classrooms with a strong emphasis on promoting global awareness, fostering global competency, and inspiring action towards solving real–world problems. Through this event, it is our hope that attendees will challenge themselves and others to become more active citizens of the world. Let us learn, question, create, and engage in meaningful, authentic opportunities within a global context!

Post Your Stuff

We welcome you to post to our discussion forum. You can offer news and resources, ask for help and inspiration, request project partners, and generally share anything that you think would be useful to our community. You can also search our discussion forum and browse various categories to see previously posted content.

We also welcome you to post relevant videos, photos, and blogs. The blogging feature in our network is geared towards sharing personal reflections rather than news and resources.

Conference Co-Chair Lucy Gray will feature and share out relevant posts with the world at large on social media and Co-Chair Steve Hargadon may share content on his newsletter, The Learning Revolution Project. If you have resources to promote, make sure to post in our community!

List Your Events

If you have a virtual or face-to-face event coming up, please post it to our Events. Again, Lucy Gray will share relevant events over social media and Steve Hargadon may post it in his newsletter in order to give you reach.

Our online conference has taken place annually for the last four years. Every session has been recorded and is freely available.
