December 2015 Newsletter
Letter from the President
Hi Ladies!
Happy Holidays! We have had such a wonderful month of getting together to do holiday crafts, cookies, & of course, cocktails! Special thanks to all of the ladies who hosted this holiday season. Jessica Ortega - the MNO & Dirty Santa were WILD & your house is an amazing place to get all Christmasy - THANK YOU! Thank you Wendy for doing the cookie exchange this week as well - great turn out & fantastic cookies!
Our 2nd Annual Breakfast with Olaf was again A HIT! It went off without a hitch & the kids not only loved Olaf, but our surprise addition -- Elsa! Thanks to Keri & her husband, Wendy & her husband, & Toniann for helping pull that off! It was no small feat to cook for almost 100 people & it seemed effortless! Hope we can keep up this tradition for years to come!
This season is always the busiest for us all...trying to make things perfect for our families. We sometimes lose site of ourselves & what makes US happy this holiday season. I hope that you are all done prepping, cooking, shopping, & wrapping so that you can sit back & enjoy this time with your loved ones. I know that's what I'm going to do starting...NOW!
Happy Holidays to ALL!
XO,
Stephani
How to Find Upcoming Events
2 - I also list them in the newsletter at the bottom when I send it out. Events for the whole month are there, especially some of the bigger, family events because we like to give people notice on those!
3 - If you go into the group info from your phone or click on the "Events" section across the top from your computer, you will see every event that is happening listed there. Then you can RSVP right in the event if you can make it.
4 - If you are on the MOMS Club of Boonton main page (timeline in Facebook terms), right under the banner there is a tile that says "events", click on that and there is a list. There you will see all upcoming events.
If you are a member, you should be getting a Facebook notification every time someone creates a new event for the group as they choose "invite all."
You should definitely go on the computer, go to our page, then select "Notifications" on the top right inside the cover photo. Make sure it is set to "ALL POSTS" & then you will see everything!
Who can host an event??
Being a HOST actually sounds like a more complicated term than it really is. All it means is just thinking of something that you would like to do with your child(ren) & then picking a date & time that works for you! Create an event on our page & you are good to go!
Hope to see more people hosting events, especially with this fall weather fun we have going on!

Playgroups - we need your help!
Within MOMS Club we have playgroups organized specifically for your child’s age group. These groups meet at member’s homes or in parks & rotate hosts within the group. The groups are divided by age & are coordinated by a member within the group.
Now that our group is so large, it's essential that these playgroups exist so that we can more comfortably get together in people's homes & at certain locations. We are looking for 2 volunteers to help in the age groups below! Please contact me if you would like to help out!
1 to 2 years old = Lindsay Regan & Wendy Sarama
2 years to 3 years old = Dana Cornwell - looking for a volunteer to help Dana!
3 years+ = Stephani Wright - looking for a volunteer!
