Native American Heritage Week!
November is Native American Heritage Month during which Native Americans are honored and recognized as the first people of our nation. Wilder Middle School promotes the celebration of cultural similarities and the honoring of diversity. The Wilder Equity and Diversity Team has established November 16th-20th as Wilder’s Native American Heritage Week. During the week in Advisory classes, we will celebrate Native American cultural heritages and important contributions to our nation through literacy-based presentations and activities that incorporate deeper learning and The Henrico Learning Profile.
Please be sure to ask your Wolverine about their learning this week!
