PRE Newsletter
November 30, 2018
I want to let you know that we conducted one of our crisis drills today. The situation was a hazardous/chemical spill OUTSIDE the building. Students and teachers did a great job of responding and continued learning while ensuring that all students were in the building and accounted for. The drill was short and everyone did well.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Teacher Spotlight
A little bit about Mrs. Minton's family..
My husband, Lee, teaches 8th grade History in Eudora. He also coaches football, basketball and track! We have two daughters: Annie a Kindergartner in Miss Hampton’s class, and Halle, a feisty 18 month old. Needless to say, we are always on the go! We love going to sporting events, family movie nights, and our NEW library!!
Mrs. Minton's best or favorite memory of being an elementary school student:
I was a kid who always LOVED school… I loved my teachers and feel lucky to have had such great experiences with teachers who loved their jobs. My favorite memory is probably in 2nd grade, my teacher, Mrs. Rohrer invited us all to her house for pizza and a movie. We watched “The Land Before Time” on pillows and sleeping bags in her living room. It was the BEST!
The best thing about teaching is...
… the lasting relationships with students and their families. And the funny things kids say!
The best thing about PRE is...
The people. The students and their families. The SPECIALS teachers are AMAZING here… everyone is always working to do what’s best for kids. The families I’ve come to know and work with are amazing and support us in so many ways. I can’t imagine teaching anywhere else!
