3-5 Teachers Assessment LPACs
On Monday February 1 you will receive an email from Ellevation to go in and make recommendations for testing accommodations based on Linguistic needs.
The three areas you can recommend for English learners through the LPAC are:
- Content and Language supports
- Extra Time
- Oral / Signed Administration
Remember that if a student is recieving any of these from Sped, 504, or RTI you do not need to recommend it again. We will note the "other" recommendation during the Assessment LPAC.
February 1 - 5: Make assessment accommodation recommendations in Ellevation.
Click sheet for assigning designated supports.
February 10 : Assessment LPAC meetings to be held during PLCs.

Hey Teachers!
If you have some time over the weekend, check out Whiteboard.chat. There are lots of cool features that I think you will love.
Don’t forget to schedule time in your class for kids to spend time in Prodigy. We are collecting data and getting the students placed where they belong in the program.

Wednesday, February 3 is World Read Aloud Day! https://www.scholastic.com/worldreadaloudday?linkId=108879028&linkId=109166885
Farmer Kim has had some great lessons with all of 1st grade, Mrs. Kosteski's class, and Mrs. Parker's class. Please sign up for a February date for your class! Farmer Kim would like if teachers would schedule them back to back (ex: 1:30, 2:00, 2:30). These are great hands-on lessons that she ties to the curriculum. If there is a specific lesson you would like her to cover, she will make it happen! She has connected science, literacy, color words, and even added some interesting historical facts in the lessons. She also makes sure the students make a personal connection, and they get to plant in the garden as well!
