From the Desk of the Directors
Students will be participating in some classroom assessments over the course of the next few weeks. These assessments allow teachers to know how your child is doing with reading and math. The assessments also provide a snapshot into instructional supports or acceleration students may need in other subjects like writing, science and social studies. Assessment data is used by teachers to make decisions about instructional plans and groupings. Assessment data will be shared at Fall conferences in early October.
Chatfield Loves Lapeer Spirit Week is next week! This is a special week in which each grade level kicks off their service learning project for the year. We also have a unique spirit week focused on actions, such as making a new friend or completing an act of kindness.
