Also, testing environments are mandated by the Missouri Department of Education to be wireless free zones. Students Will Not be allowed to have any wireless, or Bluetooth enabled devices in testing classrooms. Phones, smart watches, and music devices need to be placed in lockers while testing sessions are happening. Thank you for your understanding

Design Groups have build their toy solution or prototype and created a data tracking sheet to gain valuable feedback from an authentic audience. They shared their toy designs with the preschool student at Barry to make observations, time how long the toy was engaged or played with. They will then use their observation and date to formulate a plan to modify or make changes to their solutions.

Band
**Important Note**
The Band concert has been rescheduled. The New date and time for the concert is Wednesday, March 22 at 6:30 P.M. Please note that performers will need to wear nice clothing and shorts will not be allowed.
7th & 8th Grade Concert Choir

Science
Adalynn Rose born 4/9 at 4:48 am. Weighing 7 lbs 3 oz. 20 inches long.
ELA
Throughout the week of April 8th, students covered rhyme scheme, meter (such as monometer, dimeter, trimeter, tetrameter, and pentameter), delved deeper into lyric and narrative poetry, wrote their own narrative poems, reviewed the use of textual evidence, and took their first poetry post-test of the quarter.
Social Studies
Pre-Algebra
Pre-Algebra has been learning about Angles and Triangles and assessed over that material on April 10th. They will being learning about circles on April 11th and quiz over that around April 18th/19th. (Short units!)
Algebra
Algebra students have begun learning about polynomials. We will continue this and test over the unit around April 24th. (That's the target date to be done!)
7th Grade Math
All groups have now finished up Topic 5! This week Group 1 will start on topic 6, Group 2 will be finishing and testing on topic 6 (Friday 19th), Group 3 will be starting topic 7, and Group 4 will be finishing and testing Topic 7 (Friday 19th). Don't forget MAP testing starts for 7th grade math on April 24th.
