Every Day
Hello Families!! Every day please pack the following items:
- 2 Snacks
- 1 Lunch
- 1 Refillable Water Bottle
- Sunscreen
- Bug Spray
- Swim Suit (On Swim Days)
- Towel (On Swim Days)
- Extra Clothes in a Zip lock Bag (accidents happen, mud happens)
- Zip lock Bag for wet clothing
- Please label your campers belongings
- We encourage proper shoes for camp- close toed shoes such as tennis shoes
- PLEASE DRESS APPROPRIATELY FOR THE WEATHER! :) It is cold in the morning!
When does my camper swim?
Micro Mudsock Preschool (Ages 3-5) swims at the Splash Pad Tuesday through Friday at 9 AM!
Mini Mudsock (Ages 5-6) swims Tuesday and Thursday 11-11:50
Mega Mudsock (Ages 7-8) swims Monday and Friday 1-1:50
THE Mudsock (ages 9-11) swims Tuesday and Friday 2-2:50
Enrichment swims Monday and Wednesday 12-12:50
Teen Camp swims everyday from 1-2 in the outdoor pool
LIT/ CIT- swims Thursday from 2-3 in the outdoor pool
Drop off and Pick Up
- Drop off starts at 6:30 AM at the back entrance (old Teen Center)
- A Picture ID is REQUIRED by ANYONE who is picking up your child
- Your child may not be picked up by anyone who is not on the pickup list
- The person who registered the child for camp is the ONLY person who can make pickup changes
- Your child must be picked up by 6 PM or you will be charged $1 per minute for every child and minute after 6 PM

Micro Mudsock Preschool Camp Ages 3-5- Director Mallory
This week our theme is Minion Madness! We will have oodles of fun causing Minion mayhem this week! We will be making minions with our feet, minion goggles, and playing Despicable Me games like What time is it Gru?, and Minion Tag! Remember that we swim outside on the Splash Pad Tuesday – Friday as long as it is 60 degrees or warmer outside! I look forward to seeing you next week!

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)- Director Mallory
This week our Mudsock campers will be learning about how the human body works on STEM day one by testing our balance skills in different conditions, and learning how to check our pulse and what kinds of activities make our heart rates increase and decrease. On STEM day 2, we will learn about rain and clouds and we will be making butter! For engineering this week, each camper will be creating his/her own airplane! We are ready to soar into week 2 of camp!

This week in Arts & Crafts we will be making another favorite summer time treat, POPSICLES! Mud sock will also be making a flying paper kite.

Mudsock will be learning and listening about animals this week. They will also be discussing and drawing what animal teeth would look like on us!

Outdoor Education- Director Dean
This week is all about Survival in the wilderness! We are going to learn about fire safety as well as how to start a good fire if you are camping in the outdoors. We are also going to learn how to purify our own water using nothing but a disposable water bottle and what we can find out in nature! Come learn how to survive in nature!

Teen Camp- Director Marsha
Welcome to the 2nd week of Teen Camp! This week's Wednesday field trip is to 100 Acres at Indianapolis Museum of Art. We'll hike the arts trails and enjoy the sculptures and art pieces. Please make sure your camper has their lunch as we will be eating at 100 Acres and a permission slip is signed prior to the trip. On Tuesday and Thursday campers walk to Holland Park to play sports. Traditional camp activities through out the week include cooking, science, archery, arts and crafts, outdoor games and swimming at the outdoor pool everyday.
