This year we have scheduled trips for fifth and sixth grade that connect to our social studies curriculum. Sixth grade will be going to Double Trouble State Park this month and fifth grade will be going to Monmouth Battle Field in early Spring.
Open chess night will be on Monday nights from 6:00 to 7:30 in the BTES cafeteria. This evening club is for students who are familiar with the game of chess and can play independently. Mr. Prima will be overseeing this event. If your child is interested in attending you are required to sign them in and sign them out each evening. Please enter through the back of the building near the cafeteria.
At BTES we offer many clubs and opportunities for all our students. Fall clubs begin on Monday and students should be picked up from the following locations.

  • Yoga / Health and Fitness Club will be picked up on the side of the building - bus drop off.
  • Art of Positivity / Chess Club will be picked up in the front of the building - parent drop off.
If a child is accepted into clubs for the fall semester they will not be eligiable for Spring clubs. This helps us ensure that all students have an opportunity to participate within our club program.

BTES Bulldog Respect Walk

The BTES Bulldogs will be having their annual Respect Walk on Saturday, September 28. This event will take place at 9:00 a.m. and we will be walking along the Berkeley Rail Trail. The purpose of this event is to promote Respect for everyone and everything. The starting point will be East Railroad and Segle Ave. We hope everyone is available to come out and support our walk.
