According to Orlando Orthopedic Center " At least one player sustains a mild concussion in nearly every American football game." Young football players should really think about the pros and cons of playing football.

To begin with , Concussions can stand in the way of doing everyday activities and in football concussions are not that uncommon. According to, Jennifer Shotz "Then for two miserable months, he felt foggy and had trouble answering questions." So this player got a concussion and for two months didn't feel right and couldn't even answer questions. Also according to Shotz "Terrible as it was, Isaiah's injury was not unusual." Many players that play football are at risk for getting a concussion and to doctors that treat football players a concussion is not out of the ordinary. Additionally, Shotz said "Isaiah decided to quit football for good." Since Isaiah decided to quit football he no longer has to worry about getting a concussion or a serious injury in football.

In conclusion, football is a dangerous sport and can take people away from their everyday life by giving them life-long or just temporary injuries. Concussions can really ruin athletes life and can get an athlete to not participate in everyday activities, and to feel foggy.
