USBE School Climate Survey 2021
Nebo School District has been directed by the Utah State Board of Education (USBE) to administer the School Climate Survey every other year. This is the first year for the School Climate Survey. This School Climate Survey is mandated by Utah Law. Here is link to the Board Rule which references the law: https://www.schools.utah.gov/file/d2ef1b42-b70c-4d0e-b50b-bbeed29f8b8b. There is a Climate Survey FAQ below if you have questions about the survey.
The survey will be open from now until May 7, 2021. You will complete one survey per school in which your children attend regardless of how many children are in the school.

TERM 4 OUTSIDE LUNCH - YAY!
Students - we will be seeing warmer weather SOON! This means you will be able to eat lunch outside again!
Beginning Term 4 on March 29, when we have good weather, we will have OUTSIDE DAYS for lunch. This means you can eat in the cafeteria - sitting on designated blue circles only - or you can take your meal outside and enjoy the sunshine and warmth.
Beginning next Monday, WE WILL NO LONGER EAT SCHOOL LUNCH IN THE HALLS, we have plenty of room in the cafeteria and outside.
Also, we will no longer be eating in stairways and entryways during lunch. Signs will be posted in these areas to remind students to find a sunnier location.
RISE and ACT Aspire End of Year Testing
We want to make you aware that SFJHS faculty are preparing to administer this year's end of level testing. We know how crucial it is to understand more fully the impacts COVID has had on our students, therefore, student participation is vital.
- Utah RISE testing in Math, English, and Science for 7th and 8th graders will go from April 26th-May 14th with make-ups finishing the following week.
- The ACT Aspire Plus for all 9th graders will be May 4-5.
There will be more detailed information coming as we get closer to the testing window.
SFJHS PTA Needs You!
Dear Parents and Guardians of 7th and 8th grade parents,
The Spanish Fork Junior High PTA would like to be a part of a fun filled year at Spanish Fork Junior High School this fall for the 2021-22 school year. Our PTA Board works hard to provide students and staff with opportunities and services all year long. We would like to invite you to participate in these activities and join the PTA.
We have a great need for volunteers. This is a wonderful opportunity to serve and be involved. You make a difference! Please consider being a positive influence in your child's school environment by signing up to help on our PTA board or help on a committee.
If you have any questions, please contact Karla Froelich; Text: 801-921-0396 or email karla.froelich@gmail.com.
