Support WCHE Tigers & the WCHE PTO @ Angel's Icehouse!
WCHE Spirit Night @ Angel's - Tuesday, May 23 - 5 to 8 pm!
Visitors and Volunteers
All class party volunteers, promotion ceremony volunteers, and promotion ceremony visitors will need to obtain a Raptor security badge from the Front Office in order to enter the building. Be sure to allow ample time before your event to obtain your security badge. A photo ID is required. If your photo ID has already been scanned into our Raptor security system, we highly recommend that you email our Receptionist here the day before you plan to visit/volunteer to let her know to have your badge ready for you so that you can bypass, what could be, long security check-in lines.
Please park in our parking lots. In the event the parking lots are full, please parallel park on the pavement along Cypress Ranch Boulevard. Please avoid parking on medians and landscaping to ensure that you do not damage the neighborhood irrigation systems.
If at any time you decide to take your Tiger(s) home with you prior to normal dismissal time, please be sure to complete a student sign out form and check out through the Front Office prior to leaving the campus.
Last Pep Rally of the School Year - Thursday, May 25 @ 7:40

It’s been a great year thanks to all of our amazing volunteers! So many of them made this year a success, and we couldn’t do it without each of them. A special thanks to all of our room parents who supported their teachers all year and made sure they felt appreciated.
There is a special group of volunteers who have gone above and beyond all year, and we want to recognize them personally during our Pep Rally. Thank you, ladies, for being super stars!

It's been a great year of learning! And, now that the school year is coming to a close, it's time to begin taking home student belongings. If you left medication with Nurse Kate during the school year, be sure to pick up the medication before 12:40 pm on Friday, May 26, for Nurse Kate is required to discard unclaimed medication at the end of the school year.
We also have student belongings in classrooms and in the Lost & Found. Be sure to take all belongings home! Unclaimed belongings will be discarded or donated to charity June 1.

Dear Parents of WCHE 5th Graders
If your child receives updated immunizations at his/her 11-year-old well check, please turn the record in to me. I will then be able to make sure that the immunization record is as up to date as possible before he/she is promoted to middle school.
There are 3 vaccines recommended for preteens. At 11-12 years old, your preteen should receive vaccines to protect them from the following diseases:
- Meningococcal disease (MenACWY) (one dose)
- HPV (two doses)
- Tetanus, diphtheria, and whooping cough (pertussis) (Tdap) (one dose)
Please remember that you are welcome to contact me if you have questions concerning immunizations.
Warmest regards,
Kate Neal, RN
