2022 Annual Town Meeting Information
The 2022 Annual Town Meeting will be held at the Oak Middle School Auditorium, 45 Oak Street, on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 8:30 am.
The warrant for the May 21, 2022 Annual Town Meeting can be found HERE.
On Thursday, April 14, 2022, and Thursday, April 28, 2022, at 6:00 pm in the Selectmen's Meeting Room, the Finance Committee held public hearings on the articles contained in the warrant and will make recommendations to Town Meeting.
On Tuesday, April 26, 2022 the Board of Selectmen made recommendations on a majority of the articles contained within the warrant.
On Thursday, May 19, 2022 Pre-Town Meeting will be held at 6:00 PM in the Oak Middle School Auditorium.

May 21, 2022 Annual Town Meeting Warrant Articles The Board of Selectmen made their recommendations on a majority of the Annual Town Meeting Warrant Articles. They held recommendations on Articles 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, and 35, which are all related to Zoning in order for the Planning Board to make their recommendations on May 5, 2022. The discussion of the 2022 Annual Town Meeting Warrant Articles begins HERE and the warrant can be viewed HERE. | Town Manager Evaluation Fiscal Year 2022 The Board of Selectmen completed Mr. Mizikar's Fiscal year 2022 Town Manager Evaluation. Mr. Mizikar received an overall score of 3.6 out of 4, which is between Exceeds Expectations and Exceptional/Outstanding. The Board congratulated Mr. Mizikar on another great year serving the Town of Shrewsbury. The Board's review of the evaluation begins HERE and the full evaluation can be found HERE. Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information
Effective Friday, February 18, 2022, the Town no longer requires face coverings to be worn inside of Town Hall. The Town of Shrewsbury will adhere to the Massachusetts Department of Health’s (MDPH) ongoing Mask Advisory that encourages (but does not require) all residents, regardless of vaccination status, to wear a mask or face covering in an indoor setting outside of their home.
