Thump, thump, thump, thump. Those were the noise of a horses hooves galloping as fast as it could. On top of the horse rode Paul Revere yelling out "THE BRITISH IS COMING".While wind blew on his face, he was tired, so tired that he could sleep for forever, but he didn't because his mission was to warn everyone that the British are coming.
Paul Revere born in Boston January 1 1735.He was 1 out of 9 children and was fully educated.When he was twenty one he took a part of the French and Indian war.2 years after he married Sara Orne and had 8 children in less than 24 years.In 1773 sadly Sarah past away.A couple months later he married Rachel walker and had 8 kids to.
That same year he took a part of the Boston tea party. 1775 April 18the British wanted to take the colonist by surprise.Few hours before he heard 2 British talking about a secret plan attack.He told his friend to hang 1 lantern if there coming by land,and 2 by sea.So his friend hung 2 lantern.This is the beginning of the midnight ride.There are 2 rumors about this?The he for got his spurs.Then Paul Revere's dog came.He put a note in his collar,And he said take this home.Then the dog came with them.The other one is he forgot some thing to make the oars not make creaking noises.So he went to the neighbor and to her the problem.She threw him a petticoat for good luck.After that his friend let him borrow a horse and warned John Hancock and Sam Adams then he went to Concord.he was stopped by a British patrol.He thought fast and told them that hundreds of colonist,they got scared and left with his horse.he hurried of to town square and saw"the shot heard around the world".After that he went back to being a silver smith.
