What's Happening?
Math: We will continue working with customary and metric units of measurement this week. We will quiz over customary/metric units along with converting customary units on Wednesday. We will then move into some measurement with a ruler review for the last part of the week.
Reading: Lit Circles will meet Tuesday/Friday. We will tackle another long reading passage this week in preparation for the upcoming ISTEP. Traditional Literature Genre Bags should be worked on at home in the next two weeks. They are due April 31. Don't wait until the last minute to complete. Fourth quarter AR deadline is May 13. Get your goal!
English: We will begin chapter 7. DOL quiz FRIDAY.
Writer's Workshop: We are transitioning to poetry. We will be writing hinky pinkies (rhyming riddles) this week and analyzing poetry.
Word Study/Spelling: new word lists will be made Monday. We are focusing on the suffixes ness, less, and ful. Tic Tac Toe is due Friday.
Science: We will be completing our STEM activity on Engineering a Frog this week. We will also be reviewing force and motion.
Indiana History: We will review Ch 4 this week and TEST over it on Friday. We are also learning about latitude and longitude this week.
Religion: verse to be memorized by Thursday
