Serve United
A strategic organization of the ACTS Group
Thank you for serving!
It has been a great last few weeks of service for the Greater Sacramento Region! On September 16th, thousands of residents from the city of Folsom served over 40 single day projects of need in their community. On October 7th and 8th, over 8,000 people from Bayside Church in Granite Bay and its surrounding campuses served over 32,000 hours in projects all across the region to support schools, non-profits, and other entities. Last Saturday thousands of runners and walkers came out to support the Break Free Run, an awareness and fundraiser effort of 3 Strands Global working to prevent and educate young people against sex trafficking communities locally and abroad. These large scale efforts do not discount the thousands of unseen mentoring and tutoring sessions with children, church services with folks in retirement communities, meals shared with refugee families, and groceries distributed to people in need every day from ordinary people. In this overwhelming time of pain, fear and loss, people are making a difference in our world by making the world better for others. If you are one of the many people who chose to serve your neighbors the last few weeks, Serve United would like to say THANK YOU for making our community a better place to live!
