Message from Principal Nicole Pease

Hello families, each day brings us a little closer to the start of school on August 31st! Buses arrive and drop off begins at 8:20. There is a "Boohoo Yahoo" gathering at Fiddleheads following drop off.

It was wonderful to see so many families at our Pop in for a Popsicle! We are looking forward to the first day of school on Tuesday! Art will be the first Special, with Mr, Shultz. Please remember to have you child wear (or bring) closed toe and secured shoes for recess. A change of clothes is always a good idea as lots of different accidents can happen. Have a wonderful rest of your weekend!

HES students and staff are dedicated to recycling. We are looking for a volunteer to bring the recycling to the trasnfer station on Friday every other week. We had a parent volunteer over the last few years and much appreciated the work! However, this child has moved on from HES and we are seeking a new volunteer. The recycling is well roganized and primarily consists of paper and cardboard. If you are able and willing to help, please reach out to Lindsay Carter or myself. Thank you!

Our PTO needs you! There will be information coming home in First Day packets, but wanted to be sure you were aware that we need 8 members on the PTO in order to have a viable organization. The PTO has such a postive impact upon our student's school experiences! Please reach out to Lindsay Carter, your child's teacher, or myself if you are interested.
