Winter Party Info!
Fourth Grade Families:
The holiday season is quickly approaching and fourth Grade cannot wait to celebrate. To celebrate, fourth graders will enjoy Chick-fil-A, cookies, snacks (goldfish, skinny pop etc), Hot Cocoa/drinks and a craft - bracelet making. There will also be a photo backdrop for anyone wanting pictures. Students are welcome to wear their favorite holiday shirt.
We are very excited for a good time and in order to ensure a successful celebration for the students, we need your help! We are asking for a party item contribution for the class to share and help decorating.
Our holiday party will be on Wednesday, December 21st from 10:30am-11:45am and decorating will be Tuesday, December 20th from 3:30pm-6:00pm.
Please sign up to help decorate the classroom and/or to donate goodies! Our class party sign-up is located at 4th Grade Snowman Winter Party (signupgenius.com). Items will need to be sent to school with your child by Tuesday, December 20th (feel free to send non-perishable items earlier).**Remember all items must be store bought and peanut free!**
If you would rather make a monetary donation, you can send it with your student, in an envelope marked with the teacher's name, or Venmo Shezeen Ally - @shezeen-ally.
You are also invited to join the party with your kiddo! If you are unable to attend but are willing to send in supplies, please sign up in the link. Once again, the holiday party will be on Wednesday, December 21st from 10:30am-11:45am.
Please make sure your volunteer background check is completed in order to volunteer in the classroom. You will be required to sign in at the front kiosks before joining the class. Complete your GCISD Background Check Here

FIELD TRIP!!
.
We will be going April 27th. We will take a charter bus to Austin to do the tour of the State Capital. We will then head to Georgetown to take a tour of the Innerspace Caverns! These two tours align with our Social Studies and Science standards in 4th grade.
We will leave around 7am and return around 8pm. The approximate cost is $95. This would be for the charter bus fee, both tours and dinner on the way home.
We know this is a lot of money for a field trip, so if you have concerns please let us know!
