Vernonia School District vs. Acton

(Drug Testing In Schools)

Vernonia School District vs. Acton 1995

Drugs had not been a major problem in Vernonia schools. In the mid-to-late 1980's, teachers and administrators observed a greatly increase in drug use. Students began to speak out about their attraction to the drug culture, and to boast that there was nothing the school could do about it. With more drugs came more disciplinary problems. Between 1988 and 1989 the number of disciplinary referrals in Vernonia schools rose to more than twice the number reported in the early 1980's, and several students were suspended. Students became increasingly rude during class;outbursts of profane language became common.

Positive effects of the 4th amendment

High editors.

The police have to have a search warrant to even search your house legally, but if they search it without a warrant they cant use any evidence they found towards you.

Negative effects of the 4th amendment

28th Amendment

For the 28th amendment we are going to legalize marijuana for the good of the country. Legalizing marijuana will be good for people with eating disorders because when the smoke it, it will make them get the munchies. Also it will calm most people down, makes us have a little bit of peace in the country. Marijuana has never directly killed anyone. It helps with many different diseases such as aids, glaucoma, cancer, and multiple sclerosis. Marijuana is less toxic than nicotine. Finally it is our right. Life, Liberty, and The Pursuit of Happiness. it even says it in the Constitution. We are born with unalienable rights, and that includes the one above. :D
