Spring Carnival--Mark Your Calendar
The annual Spring Carnival is just around the corner! Save the date for May 5, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the school for a fun SOUTH OF THE BORDER themed event!
We will have many of your favorite games such as the dunk tank and cake walk, and a few new ones to challenge your skills. Dads Club will be grilling away and the tunes will be pumping.
Look for ways to help out with the event in your inbox and the kids' backpacks in the coming weeks. Volunteering is easy, fun, and a great way to contribute to our biggest community event of the year.
And if you have a small business, consider sponsoring one of our booths! Bounce House, Photo Booth, Sno-Cone. So many possibilities!
Questions or to volunteer, contact Becky Urbano at vpsupport@thornhillschool.org.

Pennies For Patients Fundraiser...
Our annual Pennies for Patients penny drive to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is still in full swing!
Each classroom will have a box for collecting donations. Please bring in pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, half-dollars, dollar coins, and bills of all sizes…Last year, we donated over $900. Let’s get to $1,000 this year!! We’ll run the donation drive through April and into mid-May.
A few Pennies for Patients facts:
- Thornhill is one of hundreds of schools across the nation participating in this donation program.
- Leukemia is a blood disease. It affects the body's production of healthy blood cells.
- Money raised will go towards cancer research, especially for children with leukemia and blood cancer.
- Approximately 17,692 children of all ages in the SF Bay Area are affected by different forms of blood cancer, including leukemia.
- We can help! Every cent counts! Only 7 cents a day can help a patient with his or her doctor visits.
Thank You!

Shop With Good Eggs and Support Thornhill
Have you ever tried shopping with Good Eggs? No? Well, what's your excuse?
Here are the Top Five Reasons to Try Good Eggs:
5. You went to pack your kid's lunch and realized you are out of blueberries. And milk. And you don't want to order pizza for dinner.
4. You are reading this at work and don't have time to stop at the store and pick your child up on time and make dinner. Order by 1pm, it can be at your door before you get home.
3. Farmer's market conflicts with Little League/birthday party/that chance at laying in bed and watching Netflix.
2. New customers get $15 off their first order.
And the #1 reason to try Good Eggs...10 percent goes back to Thornhill
We need FIVE more families to join and place orders to receive the funds!! Please try it today -- this fundraiser ends April 30.
Join the fundraiser at schools.goodeggs.com with code tbird.
