Waiters are considered professionals in France. Servers must be knowledgeable about all the food. Servers must be addressed formally, you can not call them garcon. It takes a very long time for them to get you the food
not bad
If the food was bad french people say c'est pas terrible. If the food is good people say c'est manvais.
tipping
most restaurants in France have 15% tip already included but if they don't it is ok to ask and if the service is really good then you can pay more.
