Fourth Grade News
For the Week of March 21, 2016
This Week's Focus:
Reading: We will learn about point of view, practice using quotes to pull evidence directly from text, as well as compare/contrast two different structures of informational text.
Writing: We will continue to incorporate sensory details and figurative language into our imaginative writing.
Social Studies: We will study Harriet Tubman, and her role in the Underground Railroad.
Math: Students will continue solving division problems using the standard algorithm and check their quotient using multiplication.
Science: Students will learn about internal and external structures of plants and animals that support their survival, growth, behavior, and reproduction.
Dates to remember
Book orders are going home Monday and will be due April 1st.
